To begin the game, players take turns rolling the die; to move a piece out of the starting area, the die must show the sphere symbol; then, they place the piece on their starting square of their color. Once a piece is on the starting square, the player advances it by the number shown on the die. If a player has multiple pieces, they choose which one to move. In either case, the player rolls the die again. Only one piece can occupy a square at a time. Since pieces cannot pass each other, a player who lands on a occupied square must move back to the previous square. However, if a piece lands exactly on a square occupied by another piece, it sends the opponent's piece back to their starting area and takes its place. A player returning a piece to the starting area must roll the sphere symbol again to exit. After completing a full lap with all their pieces, players move forward on squares numbered 1 to 6. To advance to square 1, the die must show 1; to square 2, it must show 2; and so on, up to square 6, which is the sphere symbol on the die. To finish and enter their pieces into the game, players must roll the sphere symbol again. The first player to get all four pieces into the game wins.
