Pita with Grilled Steak and Salad
Ingredients: Serves 4
For Pita:
25g Yeast
150 ml warm water
100 ml Milk
400g Flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons chopped rosemary
2 teaspoons Thyme
For sauce :
150 g Sour cream
100g Corn
2 tablespoons Parsley
2 chives cut into rings
salt, pepper
For the steak:
1 tablespoon Garam masala spice
2 tablespoons Maple syrup
2.5 tablespoons of corn oil
2 Steaks
salt, pepper
For Salad
12 cherry tomatoes
150 g Mixed greens
60 g Roasted onion
salt, pepper
Preparation of:
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and water. Then slowly add flour, salt, rosemary and thyme and knead until it becomes a dough with earlobe consistency. Leave it in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.
Mix garam masala, maple syrup, corn oil. Coat both sides of the steaks with the marinade and season with salt and pepper. Cook the meat at high heat until it is cooked to the desired doneness. After removing from the grill, let it rest for 5 minutes.
Divide the pita dough into 4 equal parts and shape each one into a pita shape. Place them on the grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
After taking the pitas off the grill, share the sauce you prepared on them. Arrange the salad and thinly sliced steak on top and serve.
