Materials:
- 1 cup red lentils
- 2 glasses of water
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- For the top
- extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
Preparation of:
- Set the oven to 180 degrees.
- Cook unpeeled garlic for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the insides by gently squeezing the shells.
- Boil the lentils with water over medium heat and remove from the stove when the water evaporates.
- Make it smooth by passing it through the blender.
- Add garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, cumin and chili pepper and mix.
- Transfer it to a serving bowl and cover it with olive oil to prevent it from drying out.
- Sprinkle peanuts on top and serve.
