Cinnamon ring recipe

Materials:

  • 225 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Half a glass of powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 120 ml milk
  • 50 g butter
  • Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • For frying
  • Sunflower oil
  • For the top
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation of:

  1. Put the flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder into a large glass bowl.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of icing sugar and mix.
  3. Whisk the milk and egg in another bowl.
  4. Melt the butter in a pan and warm it.
  5. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture little by little and mix with a wooden spoon.
  6. Add the warm butter and continue mixing.
  7. Knead the dough when it reaches the consistency of dough.
  8. Knead the dough for 10 minutes and divide it into 12 equal meringues.
  9. Roll the meringues in your hands and shape them into a ring with a hole in the middle.
  10. Heat the sunflower oil in a pan.
  11. Fry the ring-shaped dough in oil.
  12. Place on a paper kitchen towel to drain the excess oil.
  13. Mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the rings.
