Materials:
- 225 g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Half a glass of powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 120 ml milk
- 50 g butter
- Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- For frying
- Sunflower oil
- For the top
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation of:
- Put the flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder into a large glass bowl.
- Add 2 tablespoons of icing sugar and mix.
- Whisk the milk and egg in another bowl.
- Melt the butter in a pan and warm it.
- Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture little by little and mix with a wooden spoon.
- Add the warm butter and continue mixing.
- Knead the dough when it reaches the consistency of dough.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes and divide it into 12 equal meringues.
- Roll the meringues in your hands and shape them into a ring with a hole in the middle.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a pan.
- Fry the ring-shaped dough in oil.
- Place on a paper kitchen towel to drain the excess oil.
- Mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the rings.
